Allen named ACAA runner of the year
The Mystics men's and women's teams both finished third at the ACAA championships hosted by Holland College in Brookvale, PEI.
Madesen Allen won the women's six-kilometre race to be named the female runner of the year at the 2024 ACAA Cross Country Championships in Brookvale, PEI. An She crossed the line with a time of 23:56.3 to also earn a spot on the ACAA all-conference first team. Eva Kozak and Laurie MacDougall were the next finishers for the Mystics, placing 12th and 20th respectively. The women placed third in the team standings.
Mason Maxwell was the top MSVU finisher, crossing the line in sixth place with a time of 28:23.1 in the eight-kilometre race to earn a spot on the ACAA all-confernece first team. He was followed by Anthony Gallant and Erik Cabascango iin 18th and 21st, respectively. The men also earned a third-place team finish.
