Lawtons Drugs Athletes of the Week

Leah Mombourquette

First-year defender, Leah Mombourquette, is this week’s Lawtons Athlete of the Week for women's soccer.

Leah dominated the field, showcasing her toughness and incredible work ethic. She excelled in defence and attack, making key tackles and creating scoring chances. Her relentless energy was vital to the team’s success. 

A Psychology student, Leah is from Stillwater Lake, NS.

Muhammed Hamo

Second-year defender, Muhammed Hamo, is this week’s Lawtons Athlete of the Week for men's soccer.

According to coach Florean, Muhammed has been "very consistent in every game, reading the game in possession and out of possession." His ability to win battles in the air and defending 1v1 is top-class. His passion and determination in Thursday's game vs UKC showed lots of strength on the back line. Florean also noted that Muhammed is "becoming a great leader, lifting our Mystics team up to the next level going forward!"
