Both teams find themselves in a battle for the final playoff position in the ACAA.
An early penalty for the Hurricanes was tucked away by Vinny Boyd in the 11th minute after.
A red card to MSVU forward Logan Gervais in the 36' put the 'Canes up one man.
In the second half the Mystics adjusted well and created a few chances down a man.
In the 72' the Hurricanes jumped on the Mystics backline and caused a turnover which led to a second ejection for the Mystics, this time to Muhammed Hamo.
With the win, the Canes are now in a three-way tie with MSVU and Crandall for the final playoff spot.
MSVU face DALAC and the Hurricanes host UKC on the final match day of the regular season.
