Women's soccer tops DAL AC 5-0
The Mystics finished the regular season with a 5-0 win over the visiting Dalhousie Rams Sunday afternoon in Halifax.

The Mystics controlled the pace of play for most of the game and had a number of opportunities early on but were unable to convert until Emma Bowser opened the scoring in the 22nd minute off the inside of the crossbar to go up 1-0.
Kayley Clair had a couple of good looks in the first half, but Rams keeper Abigail Higdon made the saves.
Leah Mombourquette increased the Mystics lead to two with five minutes left in the first after sending a long shot to the bottom left corner to go up 2-0 into the half.
MSVU continued to work the ball in the second half and added a third goal in the 54th minute after Sacha Clark put the ball into the back of the net off a corner kick from Lauren Seamone.
Mombourquette had a few more opportunities soon after for the Mystics but missed the net both times.
The Mystics incresaed their lead to four in the 80th minute when Mhyah Allen converted on a pass from Clark with 10 minutes left in the second half.
Three minutes later, Beth Padfield took a free kick just outside the 18 yard box and found the back of the net to give the Mystics a 5-0 lead.
That would do it for scoring, giving the Mystics the 5-0 win to clinch first place in the ACAA standings heading into the conference championships next weekend.
Dalhousie keeper Abigail Higdon had a great game for the Rams, making 16 saves in the loss.
